(a) REGULAR MEMBER: A person who has been admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania or any other state who is of good moral character, whose principal office is located in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, or Delaware County, and whose practice consists substantially in the representation of defendants in civil actions.
(b) PRIVILEGED MEMBER: Any individual member who has been a member in good standing of the Association for not less than 10 years and who is 65 years of age or older, may apply for Privileged Member status by filing an application with the Secretary of the Association certifying his or her qualifications. Upon review and approval by majority vote of the Executive Committee, the applicant shall assume Privileged Member status and shall be exempt from payment of dues.
(c) YOUNG LAWYERS: A person with less than 5 years in practice, plus meet the requirements for a Regular Member.
(d) GOVERNMENT LAWYERS: State, city, local government, attorneys general, public defenders, district attorneys, and the courts, provided applicants meet the requirements for a Regular Member.
Membership is limited to individuals and cannot be vested in firms or partnerships. Applicants must be sponsored by two Regular Members.
