The Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of the Honorable Angelo J. Foglietta on September 28, 2025. Judge Foglietta was a dedicated jurist whose unwavering commitment to justice, integrity and the rule of law earned the respect of colleagues, attorneys and litigants alike.

Throughout his distinguished career, Judge Foglietta exemplified fairness, wisdom and compassion both in and out of the courtroom.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Judge Foglietta’s family, friends and colleagues. He leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten and a profound impact on the legal profession and the community he served so honorably.
